Mr. Riley began work with Lanpher Associates, Inc. in 1989. Prior to his engineering studies he brings two years of experience in the architectural field. His work has consisted of the design of several commercial fish hatcheries including hydraulic, structural, mechanical, and electrical systems as well as initiating the design of peat filtration systems for on-site waste disposal to meet environmental regulation requirements. He has designed timber-frame, standard frame residential, and pressure-treated glued-laminated structures. He has experience with new projects as well as renovations and has executed drawings and specifications for many buildings both public and private. Projects have included school buildings, a medical center, a library, a college dormitory, greenhouses, a hotel, and a pool enclosure. Mr. Riley continues his professional development by attending engineering design courses, computer/design-build/ecology conferences, and designing/building his home.
