Mr. Lanpher is an experienced, multidisciplined electrical engineer actively working in the fields of lighting, power, acoustics, and computer systems. His primary work consists of lighting and power systems designs for commercial and domestic applications. As a sensitive lighting designer, Mr. Lanpher calls upon his experience as a theatrical designer in professional summerstock. His work at the Jackson Laboratory offered him an opportunity to develop skills in many different kinds of power systems as well as data and communications equipment. He is cognizant of the needs of office automation equipment and has been involved in the design of several fiberoptics data lines. He is experienced in acoustics and does analysis for the treatment of acoustical spaces and designs for high fidelity sound reproduction and sound reinforcement systems. His acoustical and sound system designs are complemented by his continuing association with the Bar Harbor Town Band as lead trombone during summers. Mr. Lanpher regularly attends lighting, theatrical and computer conferences to continue upgrading his skills.
