Mr. Lanpher is an experienced mechanical engineer working in the fields of ventilation, heating, air-conditioning, structures and plumbing. He has won awards for innovative uses of heat recovery and active solar systems. Mr. Lanpher is continuing to design optimized energy efficient buildings utilizing such techniques as air-to-air heat exchangers in classroom ventilation systems and water storage, wood fired boiler systems for residential and commercial applications. Other unique designs include customized waste water heat exchangers and laboratory animal bedding dispensers. He is an expert in animal care facility mechanical systems design and other 100% outside air systems. He has attended special conferences at Purdue University in Central Chilled Water Plant Design, New York University in Energy Efficiency Optimization and Solar System Engineering and George Washington University in Solar Energy Design and Cogeneration Design. Mr. Lanpher regularly attends trade conferences to continue upgrading his skills.
